YOUR MISSION
You will be required to plan, organize, direct and control all the activities of a major division of the company with 4 prepared concrete plants located throughout New Brunswick. Specifically, you will need to:
Demonstrate proactive commitment to health, safety and environment ;
Lead all sales and operations;
Develop and drive continuous improvement, profitability and innovation within our division;
Identify business opportunities;
Optimise the company’s human and material resources;
Implement an annual action plan aligned with the company’s objectives and ensure that it is implemented;
Control processes related to procurement coordination, quality plan management and health and safety prevention;
Develop good relationships with customers and sub-contractors;
Implement effective management procedures;
Support and mobilize teams by conducting daily monitoring;
Develop team skills, evaluate, determine goals and measure productivity.
YOUR DNA
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Construction Engineering (asset);
Five (5) years experience in a similar position;
Experience in prepared concrete as well as management would be an asset;
Demonstrate strong management, motivational, communication and problem-solving skills;
Focus on performance and cost management;
Demonstrate independence, initiative, leadership and analytical skills;
Good knowledge of concrete and aggregates (asset);
Demonstrated strong operational management, sales, motivation and problem-solving skills;
Experience in market development will be considered an asset;
Autonomy, initiative and leadership skills;
Mandatory bilingualism.
